Teresa K. Chien

Executive Assistant and Executive Business Partner supporting CEOs and other senior executives.

I bring a particular set of skills to executive support: calendars that hold under pressure, offsites that run smoothly, travel that lands, and confidential work that stays that way.

How I work

I support CEOs, boards, and other senior executives across technology, gaming, media, and hospitality. Much of that work sits in high-stakes settings: restructuring, leadership transitions, and confidential stakeholder communication.

Day to day that means heavy calendar management, complex travel, and offsites for teams large and small, with an eye toward cleaner process wherever it helps.

Professional history

A narrative of roles and partnerships. Recruiters are welcome to email for a résumé.

  1. Business Associate

    Consensys Software Inc. / MetaMask

    Remote

    December 2021 to Present

Teresa's current role at Consensys puts her beside four senior leaders across a company of more than 750 people: product, technology, product strategy and monetization, and strategy. Inside MetaMask's 200-plus person organization, she is the only administrative support on the desk. The work is calendar architecture, priority triage when plans shift, and keeping leaders aligned across time zones.

Each year she plans and runs six or more leadership offsites, from groups of ten to gatherings of a hundred, covering venues, travel, logistics, and the program itself. With two colleagues on a small business support team, she co-manages global travel through Navan. She led the move from Confluence to Notion and built a workspace structure teams still maintain on their own. During the January 2025 Palisades Fire, she relocated 20 team members and locked in an alternate site within hours.

  2. Executive Assistant to the President and Chief Executive Officer

    MGM Resorts International

    Las Vegas, NV

    July 2021 to October 2021

She served as primary point of contact for the Office of the President and CEO, managing communication flow with internal leadership and external stakeholders. She managed a high-volume executive calendar, confidential correspondence, and special projects during post-pandemic recovery.

  3. Executive Assistant, Sales Organization

    International Game Technology (IGT)

    Las Vegas, NV

    November 2020 to June 2021

She supported four senior sales leaders across the United States, Mexico, and Caribbean, including the Senior Vice President of Sales. She designed and built an automated ticketing request and allocation system using Excel, pivot tables, and Microsoft Power Automate, replacing a fully manual process. She also tracked departmental projects and managed day-to-day operations for the sales leadership organization.

  4. Executive Assistant to the President and Chief Executive Officer

    Caesars Entertainment Corporation

    Las Vegas, NV

    April 2015 to July 2020

As Executive Assistant to the President and Chief Executive Officer, she supported the office through Caesars' Chapter 11 restructuring and the successful 2017 emergence. She coordinated board meetings, executive briefings, and creditor communications across three separate boards of directors. She served as liaison among the CEO, board members, senior leadership, legal teams, investors, and external stakeholders, partnering closely with the Chief of Staff. Confidential executive and personal matters, complex travel, and leadership offsites across multiple properties were part of the daily fabric of the role.

  5. Office Manager and Executive Business Administrator

Eko / Microsoft Xbox Entertainment Studios / CBS Corporation

    Los Angeles, CA

    October 2001 to April 2015

From October 2001 through her departure in 2015, Teresa partnered with the same senior executive across three organizations and successive leadership roles: more than thirteen years of continuity through each organizational transition. She served as office manager and executive business administrator, the right hand to a leader operating at the highest levels of network television and, later, interactive entertainment.

At CBS Corporation, she supported the President of the network when CBS stood at the height of American broadcast television as the country's number one most-watched network. The office she kept ran wall to wall across network, studio, and CW operations. She managed a calendar that spanned multiple divisions while supervising a second assistant. The deals and relationships that moved through that office included the creation of The CW. The president she supported was among the most powerful women in Hollywood and appeared on Forbes' list of the world's most powerful women, ranked historically among the top 100, including placements such as number 75 and number 32. Teresa's work was executive support at that altitude: protecting time, stewarding confidential flow, and keeping the machinery of a top network office running.

When that executive moved to Microsoft to lead Xbox Entertainment Studios, Teresa went as well. The studio's ambition was original content for Xbox One: a living-room platform for original programming, closer in spirit to what Apple TV+ later became than to a traditional game publisher slate. Teresa partnered with Microsoft Real Estate to design, build, and launch the Los Angeles studio office, and she managed administrative operations and onboarding as the team stood up. The unit closed in 2014. Microsoft cut roughly 18,000 jobs company-wide, and Xbox strategy shifted back to core gaming under new leadership after Xbox One's entertainment-first positioning struggled against the PlayStation 4. The entertainment unit had unclear economics and limited released programming. Teresa's role remained what it had always been: executive support through a high-visibility build and an abrupt wind-down.

At Eko, she continued supporting the same executive during a transitional period while the company explored a Los Angeles office and expanded its U.S. presence.
